I’m sure most of us are familiar with the biblical story of splitting the baby. The idea of dealing with a difficult decision by splitting the difference has become a common metaphor in America, but should your legal decisions be made that way? In the recent Supreme Court cases regarding stays against the OSHA and HHS vaccine mandates, it appears the court decided to split the difference. During oral arguments, no one quoted the Constitution. In fact scant reference to the supreme law of the land. So today, if you work in the private sectors, your employer is not being forced to require you receive the COVID shots, that is unless you work in the healthcare sector. What does this mean for the American people? What does this mean for the future of rights in America?
