If, as a society, we cannot arrive at a decision together identifying the root cause of all the mass shootings going on around America every day, and try to solve it, we will constantly be swatting at hornet’s nests without ever learning the lesson of reality. If you’ve never hit a hornet’s nest with a stick as a child, you have no idea of the ‘Hell’ that will instantly descend upon you. If you did recognize the danger but did it again, then you’re most likely a Woke Democrat.

The Progressive Left Democrats, still trying to sell us the garbage that gun ownership is a prize for White domestic terrorists, and a health danger to Americans, are taking another swing at that high-hanging hornet’s nest. Come November, that swarm of angry red hornets that are coming for them will send them into cataleptic shock for years to come. Let’s hope so!

Precisely what issues are we not trying to decide here? Root causes, of course ⏤ which are already generally ignored. Gun possession, but by whom? The US Constitution says by rights; we can have guns without being more specific.

Leftist governments have tried everything to limit gun possession, but they keep whacking that 2nd Amendment hornet’s nest. Local Blue jurisdictions, states, and cities have imposed restrictions of all sorts, but still, there’s that nagging 2nd Amendment and outraged gun owners blocking their way.  

The issues change according to the latest outrage, this time the murders of nineteen little children and two adults at the Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, Texas, not meeting the Liberals’ litmus test of young White male offenders, but this time the culprit was a Hispanic teenage nut job who had previously displayed red flag tendencies that were ignored. A brave policeman rendered him DRT. Not so the white teenager in Buffalo, NY, but they can’t make him a ‘domestic terrorist’ because he was one of them, a raving Progressive dingbat who hated Jews, Negros, Christians, and Conservatives with equal enthusiasm. Too bad! He might have made a good Democrat politician.

So, the issue changed again, let’s harden the schools!

Uvalde, Texas, had an assigned school resource officer, but he wasn’t there. Why? His presence might have been enough to have stopped the shooter. Embarrassed police officials, seeking excuses to mollify the press, have given out conflicting information that has only clouded the matter, a screwup of indecision by police leadership.

We don’t know the full answer yet, but clearly, a lackadaisical attitude toward school safety, accompanied by an “it can’t happen here” attitude, contributes. There’s lots of blame to go around, and it’s all governments. To Democrats, hardening a school means more police when it’s their stated purpose to defund the police, and more guns that don’t comport with their aim to remove all guns from society. Oh, the anguish of it!

So, let’s seriously look at the one issue that’s staring us in the face, but we ignore it as insolvable, mental health. Why insolvable? Because to do what needs to be done, house these people in government institutions violate the civil rights of the poor homeless, and drug-addicted sots that have turned American cities into squalid hellholes of depression, crime, and drug use. Yet, another liberal ‘do-gooder’ caused the problem.

Paying people not to work, rendering them by design indolent, lazy and shiftless, adds to the problem of those who genuinely have a mental illness. People with no motivation to produce their own work and satisfied to be fed by government, exist to prey on the others who also get their government relief checks. 

Also being ignored, and from where high murder rates are breaking records, is the inner cities where the cultural collapse of the government-supported black families has led to the rise of gangs dedicated to getting as much as they can before they too are shot to death. They expect it! Why?

Because black lives don’t really matter, and Democrats don’t really care.

Remember, freedom is the goal; the Constitution is the way. Now, go get ‘em!
