Apparently, all the hardware stores in Virginia were all sold out of shovels, otherwise, the Democrats would have bought them all in order to dig up enough votes in cemeteries across the state to win the Virginia Gubernatorial election yesterday. As it turns out, Republican Glenn Youngkin defeated career politician and Clinton crony Terry McAuliffe in a stunning upset. There simply weren’t enough shovels.

Likewise for deep-blue New Jersey where incumbent Democrat Phil Murphy fought off a very strong finish by his Republican opponent Jack Ciattarelli. Though Murphy did still pull out a victory by a very slim margin in the tightly contested race. For died-in-the-wool Democrat New Jersey to even be close shows the level of discontent spreading around the country since Joe Biden and his regime took office less than a year ago.

Virginia is particularly stunning since McAuliffe called out the big guns to campaign for him in the waning moments of the race. None other than Barack Hussein Obama came to Virginia to stump for the Democrat candidate. Along with other campaign visits from Kamala Harris and Joe Biden. Neither of whom carried any weight with Virginia voters. The truth is that Biden likely didn’t know where he was or what he was doing. His dementia is rapidly taking over his decades-long feeble mind. And Kamala Harris couldn’t sell fire to an Eskimo in the middle of winter.

The loss must be especially tough for McAuliffe since he never intended to serve a full term as governor of Virginia anyway. McAuliffe recognized that both Joe Biden and Kamala Harris were extremely weak candidates and neither would have won the nomination for president from the Democrat Party in 2024. McAuliffe had every intention of just using the Virginia governorship as his stepping stone to take the party’s nomination for the 2024 presidential election.

So after these remarkable election results where do Republicans go from here? Do they learn any lessons from this? Hopefully, they do, though they have surely let us down many times in the past. Unfortunately, the Republicans simply don’t know how to play hardball the way Democrats do. And sadly the Democrats usually run roughshod over Republicans even when the Democrats are in the minority. Republicans have shown over and over that while they try to play by the rules, they allow Democrats to get away with anything without Republicans fighting back.

Well here’s a little tip for the Republicans who today are probably all swelled up with overconfidence at their prospects in 2022. Listen to the American people or find yourself scratching your head and wondering what happened when the Democrats retain or regain power in Washington next year. Americans have had enough of the game playing and antics that have been going on in Washington decade after decade after decade. They want results.

Yes, Nancy Pelosi and the Democrats are masters at partisan politics. But it is incumbent upon Republicans to not let them continue to get away with it. Call them out loudly and in strong language. No more political niceties.

The Democrat Party represents the gravest threat to our Republic. A great many of its’ membership are basically involved in a criminal conspiracy to cover up the treasonous activities that took place during the four years of the Trump Administration. They need to be investigated, called out on it, and prosecuted. I wanna see hangings!

If Republicans fail to hold all of those who participated in the undermining of the Trump presidency accountable⏤tens of millions of Americans who voted for Trump will remember. It’s time to clean the stench of career politicians out of Washington, D.C., and replace it with a citizen legislature that is there to work for the American people.

Far too much damage has been done to our country in less than a year. Republicans will have much to do to repair the real damage, as well as the damage done to our national psyche. The good ole boy system of slapping each other on the back as they continue lining each other’s pockets must end. Our country is at stake.

Virginia is the first step in taking our country back.
