First, they came for our schools and we did nothing. Now we have multiculturalism, depravity diversity, inclusion, rainbows, and CRT being taught, but Johnny can’t read or write. Then they came for our families: “Your parents know nothing, listen to us!” Now, with all the other problems involved, instead of raising good American citizens they have embedded spies in our family units ratting to the authorities when parents don’t tow the “Woke” line the Leftist teachers’ unions want. Then they came for our religion and threatened churches into compliance with socialist tax nonsense. Then they came for our police departments. Now, it’s basically unsafe to venture out onto our city streets without being armed and now, as of 31 Aug 21, they came for our military. All avoidable and all the results of our inaction!
In an instant, Joe Biden threw US foreign policy into chaos and tatters. Our all-volunteer military, betrayed by Woke General Officers and Deep State Leftists bureaucrats more concerned about their post-military or government career opportunities with the Military-Industrial Complex, did nothing but capitulate to the Woke doctrine. Worse, after screwing it up, they lied about it, over and over again blaming the Afghan army, blaming Donald Trump, blaming Americans still left in Afghanistan while Joe takes a victory lap telling us how good his pullout went.
Chief of Staff, Army General Mark Milley still hasn’t done the right thing to end his disgraceful career. I guess somebody will have to do it for him, it would help to assuage our humiliation, our lost honor, and our deep embarrassment as Americans. No one will trust us anymore. Why should they?
I certainly hope they don’t continue to think we’re as stupid as they think we are. I don’t view this monstrous betrayal simply as a clumsy attempt to end a war gone array, because it wasn’t. It was planned long in advance as a final step so cleverly outlined for us in “Rules for Radicals,” to destroy Americans’ faith and trust in its military. It’s the final step in bringing America into the Socialist mold. The incredible fool Joe Biden is their sacrificial lamb. If he’s not a senile bumbling self-absorbed criminal incapable of making statesman-like decisions, he’s putting on a good act. By all appearances, he can’t even think let alone read or understand the script placed before him.
Joe’s pullout, precipitous as it was, reveals the darker side of making war, attempting to make it humane by trying to protect civilians then abandoning them. They are involved because they’re there and now after twenty years of engagement with a seventh-century people whose ideology is based on hate, death, and religious obedience and, who have never lost a war, we abandoned our sacred commitments made to the civilians of that ideology who decided to cooperate with us. Even with the dreadful knowledge of their own history that to assist yet another foreign invader was tantamount to apostasy and certain to condemn them to that fate Islam demands. So much for making friends and impressing people.
Apparently, we strive to make war ethical. There are rules for war but they were made by the civilized Western nations without the consent of Islam. Instead of beating them into submission, ethical or not, we encourage them to ignore, right or wrong, the strict rules of their Quran regarding the treatment of women, indeed we flaunt our women warriors in their faces.
Sun Tzu said if you don’t know your enemy he will defeat you and while the Twin Towers of 9/11 were still burning, President Bush tried to convince us “Islam was a religion of peace!” That’s as stupid as General Milley telling a Congressional panel that he read CRT, worried about his Whiteness and all the other Leftist garbage the Democrat Communist Party are trying to foster on us.
We went into Afghanistan after pacifying Iraq, Syria, and the ISIS that were harbored there, to prevent that country from becoming the launching platform for Islamic terrorism against the West. In fact, it worked for twenty years then, somewhere down the timeline, “Wokeness, politics and Political Correctness” took over and Flag Officers, whose careers depended on compliance, quickly subscribed to the “Woke” philosophy of inclusiveness and diversity, immediately setting the stage for defeat.
It is good that we are finally out of the parade of endless wars we’ve been in since 9/11. But we’re not out. We’ll go back because we’ll have to. In the meantime, in the face of Biden’s feckless weakness, North Korea is rattling its nuclear sword, its threats to head south before their army starves to death, while China is ready to snatch Taiwan (Nationalist China) into its fold before their own social problems cause an internal revolution. Everybody has problems and good ol’Joe set the ball rolling. One thing’s for sure, we can thank Joe Biden for showing us how great President Donald Trump really was.
