“Listen, my children, and you shall hear
Of the midnight ride of Paul Revere,
On the eighteenth of April, in Seventy-Five:
Hardly a man is now alive
Who remembers that famous day and year.”

We’re all familiar with the poem Paul Revere’s Ride by Henry Wadsworth Longfellow and the famous line “The British are coming, the British are coming!”

While the details are fictitious, and that line isn’t in the poem, the story is about a true event. Today, there’s another warning being spread, but will the American people listen?

Just as there were several people warning that the British were marching on Lexington, there are several people now sounding the alarm that the Fascists are coming.

In 1775, a small group of everyday people came out to oppose the tyranny. Are there still such men and women in America today?
