The Great Latina Awakening
For too long the Democrat Party has taken advantage of the Hispanic and Black vote, but in 2020 the two voting blocks hit back by throwing support behind a Republican Donald J. Trump. Although the support didn’t get him across the finish line, as we are lead to believe, that support doesn’t seem to be waning anytime soon says Elsa Aldeguer and Contessa Mendoza. The two Latina women join “After Dark With Rob and Andrew” to discuss the huge impact the former president had on the Latina community. Both believe that it is the conservative values of the Republican Party that Trump so clearly spoke of and that resonated to many in their community. The two former Democrats said for too long they, like so many others, voted Democrat because “our families always voted that way.” However, that all changed when they started doing their research and found themselves identifying with the Republican Party platform of jobs, family, anti-abortion and Christian values. Whereas, the Democrats were focusing on race, pushing transgender on children, and elevating the great welfare state with the government being in control of our lives. The two women said it was all part of the Democrats’ plan to keep people weak so that they are in control.
Contessa Mendoza is a Latina activist of Puerto Rican descent born and raised in Los Angeles, Ca. She graduated from Bible college and became an associate pastor and an outspoken Christian activist. Elsa Aldegur is a long-time Latino activist and President of Latinos4Trump and Latino Director at http://mcgausa.com.
