This Christmas is the Un-Christmas. Christmas is a beautiful time of year where we celebrate the birth of Christ, enjoy family and friends and giving gifts to loved ones and to strangers. It is a time when we reflect on our faith and what it means to us and how we live it. It is a time for us to remember and share with those less fortunate than ourselves and to remember the gift we were all given when God sent his only son to save us.
It seems to me to be a time when we can come together as a part of humanity, yet……
This year has become the Un-Christmas for many because of the Grinches living in the Washington swamp. So filled with hatred for our President and so fearful of another 4 years of a Trump Presidency, the Democrats have spent weeks spewing lies and vitriol into every home in America and indeed throughout the world. With no facts; with a rushed sham investigation of biased witnesses; with false interpretations and invented words never said; they showcased just how hatred looks.
They set aside our Christmas season, not to add love and hope and kindness and giving for Americans, but to steal the vote of 63 million Americans on made up evidence, trumped up charges and self-serving photo ops. They have divided America even more than it was. With the ever complicit media and fake news spewers, to the NeverTrumpers called as witnesses in a kangaroo court where the outcome was known and the narrative crafted to fit the desired outcome, I feel the loss of our Christmas and the joy it should bring.

The democrats, the Schiff and Pelosi and Nadler and Schumer grinches have stolen Christmas. They stole our joy and our Christmas spirit. They replaced it with anxiousness in many, and with anger in more.

They re-directed the joyful time of Christmas to a stunned country wondering what just happened in the mudpit of a farce perpetrated not only on our President, but on the 63 million people who voted for him to do all of the things he is doing so well.
Who can focus on the beauty of our most holy time of year with a war raging around us, where passions are high and are fueled by the phony self-righteous and dishonest actors in this production meant to make us believe something that never happened?
There was so much urgency to impeach this President, it just could not wait. Our national security is in imminent danger. I don’t recall anyone complaining when Obama would not give the Ukrainians arms to fight with, only blankets to hide under. The democrats didn’t get the results they prayed for with the Russia investigation, nor in any of their numerous other investigations. The election is coming, and they don’t have a platform that resonates with America. They don’t have a candidate that resonates with America. They cannot win, so they must impeach.

The bastardizing of the framer’s intent of our constitution, the disrespect to the voters and the President we lawfully elected and the utter disregard for their jobs, and for any semblance of honesty and fairness is astounding to me.

The utter dishonesty of the process, of the witnesses and of our Congressional members is just so sad and disappointing. The phony solemnness played out for the cameras is such a sham.
They have caused Americans a distraction from this joyful and holy season of Christmas. They have caused stress, anxiety and anger.
Unlike the dishonest  ”I am a Catholic, I don’t hate anyone” Pelosi lie⏤I am a Catholic and I will pray for our President and for the entire country. I will pray for the President to continue the amazing successes he has given Americans, and for more growth and prosperity for Americans in the best job market in 50 years, the best wages in 50 years, the best peacetime in many years, the best support of law enforcement and military in many years, the best trade agreements in many years, and more of our service people home in many years.
My wish for the Christmas season that the Democrats have utterly ruined for so many is that President Trump stays the course in the face of the evils that assault him every day, as though throwing marshmallows at a fortress.
My wish is that Americans can come together and see with clarity the hatred and division becoming the norm and reject it and those who perpetrate it.
My hope is to live the spirit of Christmas with the same unabashed love for America that our President displays and the same gift that Jesus gave us all when he was born.
I pray that the Christmas Spirit be in the hearts and souls of all of us that we can get past the hatred, past the division, past the lies and the vitriol and the thirst for power and bridge our divide and move America and Americans forward in life in a healthier more productive way.
Stop stealing our Christmas and our vote. Maybe a little Christmas joy would go a long way in soothing the soul of America.
