As Americans, we must understand exactly what was going on with the impeachment 2.0 of former President Donald Trump. I say former because the definition of impeachment is a process that is used to charge, try, and remove public officials for misconduct while in office. Let us remember that President Trump had already left office, and removing him was not necessary.

Those of the more left-leaning of our society will say he needed to be punished for his statements about fighting. This argument alone is so hypocritical because we would be impeaching the current president and vice president and arresting half the democrats in office if this were true. 

We must ask ourselves, what was this really about? It was to give notice to every Christian, Conservative, and lover of freedom that we are the enemy of the Democrat Party, and they can punish anyone they see fit, even a former president.

President Trump poses a threat to the establishment like no other in history. Trump’s words can mobilize eighty-plus million people to the cause of liberty.

The Democrat media machine of tech-giants and oligarchs are trying to cut off our communication with each other and from Donald Trump, so we can never mobilize to defend the constitution they hate. At this unprecedented and historical moment in history, we see the silencing and impeachment of conservative voices on social media platforms like never before. We see the media elites hand-pick which stories they choose to cover in the news cycle. Conservatives are under attack. Patriots who choose to defend our constitution, our flag, and our liberty are being painted as an enemy of the state!

As my new book, Origins of Liberty teaches, we only have two choices, either our liberty is truly Unalienable like the founders intended coming from God, or it is man-given. If you believe that your liberty is a gift from God, then it can not be removed by an oppressive government as we now have. As for me, I have and always will believe in and defend the constitution, but I cannot answer in the affirmative for you.

Honestly, if oath keepers and current military members would do their sworn duty, most of our politicians would be behind bars and not currently in Washington. U.S. Code section 5 7311 clearly states an individual may not accept or hold a position in the Government of the United States or the government of the District of Columbia if he—or she:

(1)  advocates the overthrow of our constitutional form of government,

(2)  is a member of an organization that he knows advocates the overthrow of our constitutional form of government.

Democrats have been advocating and pushing for a form of democratic socialism for years. Calling our nation a democracy and looking for ways to grow our democracy violates their very oath of office.

We must admit, they were geniuses to create the 17th amendment that changed how state legislatures appointed senators to a popular vote. This changed the ability of a state to recall a sitting Senator who violates his or her oath. What the Democrats hope to teach us with impeachment 2.0 is they are in charge, but the truth is, the Constitution is still the rule of the land, and the government is created by the citizens and can be ended by the citizens as stated in our founding documents.

I doubt with the amount of hate that exists if we can ever heal our nation. Still, the Constitution gives us a right to leave this failing union under the control of corrupt media, corporations, and politicians and reform our republic as it was meant to be.
