When the customer/loan portfolio of any bank is weighted heavily toward one industry, its fortunes will be more closely tied to the fortunes of that industry. The failure of such an institution will have painful consequences within the sector it serves, but is...
The Leaders of These Three Countries Are Certifiably Nuts
The Democrats seem to think that Iran is not a big deal. In fact, they are still negotiating with Iran to revive the JCPOA, the ill-fated agreement that was supposed to limit Iran’s ability to become a nuclear power, and did just the opposite.
When President Joe Biden ended his recent whirlwind trip to Israel and Saudi Arabia, there were more questions than answers. His visit to Saudi Arabia was supposed to be for the purpose of convincing the Saudis to pump more oil in order to relieve the current shortage. Biden ignored the fact that this shortage was due (although he would never admit it) to his own precipitous actions in the days right after he became President, which blocked nearly all American production of oil and gas. He not only canceled our ability to produce enough oil for ourselves, but he also reversed our energy independence, which had enabled us, under President Donald Trump, to become a provider of energy to the world.
But the Saudi leadership did not agree to increase its own production to satisfy Biden’s peculiar need to encourage other countries to increase their production, while he stopped our own. Biden came home empty-handed.
In Israel, he signed a pathetic “Jerusalem U.S.-Israel Strategic Partnership Joint Declaration” with Israel’s Acting Prime Minister Yair Lapid. The passage of the document relating to the Islamic Republic reads: “The United States stresses … the commitment never to allow Iran to acquire a nuclear weapon, and that it is prepared to use all elements of its national power to ensure that outcome.”
Sorry, Joe. You’re too late. While you were napping, Iran has been continuing to build its nuclear capability.
Intelligence sources have reported that some 350 pounds of nuclear material have been sufficiently enriched to be used on Iranian missiles against Israel and are now, according to reliable intelligence sources, being loaded onto their warheads. What is still unknown is whether Iran has the missiles that are capable of carrying these warheads to their targets. They claim that they do.
Joe Biden and his team of handlers have been napping, and have completely ignored the Iranian shell game in which Iran has continued to enrich uranium, despite agreements to the contrary, until they now have enough for several nuclear bombs, although the number of bombs is unknown since it depends on their size and the capability of the missiles that will carry them.
The Ayatollah, like Putin and Xi Jinping, has gone mad with power. All three have raised the possibility of their using nuclear weapons to stomp on their enemies – real and perceived. Putin has a nervous finger on the nuclear switch with regards to his Ukraine “operation,” with little regard for the consequences. Xi Jinping has his eye on the little island of Taiwan, over which he plans to cast the net of mainland China and absorb it into the mainland, at whatever cost necessary. And Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei has openly threatened Israel with total destruction and, according to recent intelligence, is planning to deploy a devastating multi-pronged attack on that tiny country, from Iran, Lebanon, Syria, and Gaza.
Given the insane ambitions of the three tyrants, we are talking about a potential nuclear disaster, and the Biden administration seems to be oblivious to it all.
This is no laughing matter. The threats are real, and the leaders of these three countries are certifiably nuts. The only country that should be powerful enough to deal with them is the United States, but we are so busy protecting our President and his team of puppeteers from themselves, that we have totally failed to keep our governmental eye on the ball, and the threat – not only to us but to the world – gets more real every day.
Are we still the leader of the free world or just another “go along to get along” nation without the courage to lead the world away from the brink and the tyranny of nuclear nations who want victory at all cost?
America needs to wake up – now! and begin to deal with the real issues that are about to shake the world.
