Our actions are not to be determined by the behavior of knuckleheads.
Or maybe think of it this way. We must not let sorry rascals teach us how to live. The story of Joseph from Genesis teaches by example. Joseph even though sold into slavery by his brothers forgave them. He believed and reminded them that what they intended for evil God intended for good.
That’s the way of wisdom. That’s the way to peace with God.

Thank you for this perspective reset, I appreciate you “ex-cogitating” with your listeners, Pastor Rick.
I ex-cogitate with the Lord over everything, and it always helps. I love it that He cares to give us His thoughts on the matter.
I have a number of situations involving injustice and have need of God’s wisdom (and help).
One involves my father who lives in another state, and is trying to manipulate me with my dead mother’s jewellery. I haven’t spoken to him for two years because of his manipulations and disrespect.
Yet, I don’t want to be a Christian doormat either. I was groomed to believe that that was normal, but no more.
I installed a rigid No Contact regime with my toxic Narcissist sister in 2012 (with the Lord’s prompting) to save my sanity.
We certainly need God’s wisdom, and we always want to do what pleases Him.
Thank you again.🇭🇲
