The Surgeon General recently published a detailed study of loneliness in the United States. Even before the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, approximately half of U.S. adults reported experiencing measurable levels of loneliness. Social isolation and loneliness...

Every American must realize that there is an agenda lurking behind most of the policies and debate taking place in opening up cities and towns from the COVID Lockdown. We are experiencing a full-media war of distortion against the use of hydroxychloroquine. The media puppets and political hacks have taken it upon themselves to discourage and disperse lies on an hour by hour basis. The stories are being written like bombshells of new information to convince folks that cardiac deaths are overwhelming due to the use of hydroxychloroquine.
Inside of one tweet, Dr. Elizabeth Lee Vliet corrected that narrative with this:
Neil Cavuto peddling dangerously WRONG INFORMATION on #Hydroxycloroquine #FDA own data shows only 62 cardiac deaths out of 50 MILLION RX, or risk of 1.2 in 1 MILLION. Car trip 1000 miles risk of fatal accident 1/366. Do you tell people not to take road trips?
President Trump said that he had been taking the drug for the past week and a half to prevent coronavirus. Trump defended hydroxychloroquine as a treatment or even prevention for coronavirus. He said that the drug has been proven to be “unbelievably effective” for malaria and lupus. “What has been determined is it doesn’t harm you,” he said. “Very powerful drug, I guess, but it doesn’t harm you. So I thought as a frontline defense — I thought it possibly would be good. I have had no impact from it. I feel the same. I haven’t changed, I don’t think, too much.”
It was Rick Bright, Ph.D., a career bureaucrat and political appointee who wielded the power and claimed credit for being the person imposing his will on all of us. How does ONE person, by his own admission, block directives from his superiors to expand availability of HCQ for outpatients and nursing home patients in the U.S.? What is the cost in lives and economic damage resulting from one person’s decision to restrict physicians’ independent medical decision-making? How many nursing home deaths could have been prevented if physicians had been allowed early access to HCQ?
