‘Not guilty’ on all charges and the 17-year-old Kyle Rittenhouse walks out of the Kenosha Courthouse a free man in the eyes of the law, totally exonerated of five charges including two of murder and others involving weapons, not just any weapon mind you, but those awful firearms our Constitution allows us to possess.
What was striking to me was why the prosecution presented their case so poorly, to the point one might suspect they ‘threw’ the case on purpose because they knew it was a political witch trial. They knew straight away the lad was innocent and that the case could never stand the sunshine of appeal or the rising fury of angry Americans who instinctively understand what is true justice and what is a Soviet show trial.
The ruling absolutely justifies our long-held and cherished principle of self-defense. Biden’s communist government will not be getting our guns so soon now, at least lawfully. Too, firearms are not necessary for self-defense because any weapon at hand will do, but when one is being chased down the streets of a city in flames by screaming hoodlums wielding their own firearms and even one of those deadly skateboards, then one should think self-protection is a given.
For now, the second amendment has been protected even though the first amendment is still under assault.
We all saw the videos and had to wonder why he was charged anyway. The three-person assault team that had driven him to the ground even as he was retreating did so in the heat of battle, as did Kyle Rittenhouse, who took action first and, apart from a skateboard gouge in his head, survived the deadly onslaught to their disadvantage.
The jury saw the films repeatedly, but never heard about the felonious criminal histories of Rittenhouse’s three attackers, as they shouldn’t. But we did, and, in hindsight, we can appreciate even more the ethical, moral, and lawful verdict the jury arrived at in their exoneration of that young man. Even more, we can be pleased that he removed two white thugs from America’s social justice warriors gene pool.
The challenge now remains in the aftermath of the ended trial. Rittenhouse may have been exonerated in the eyes of the law, but not in the eyes of the social justice warriors of the Democrat Marxists and their hoards of yet unpunished stormtroopers who spent a whole year burning down many of America’s once-great cities.
Kyle only lives twelves miles from Kenosha. They’ll be coming after him in some way. He will know no peace and the traitorous jury’s who exonerated the teen, will also feel the sting of the displeasure of the social justice warriors. You can bet on it!
What will they do now that their object of hate, a 17-year-old white supremacist, racist, vigilante, walks free? We need no imagination to understand that a visit to Kenosha for a Friday evening out with the wife or girlfriend is not on for tonight. The Marxist stormtroopers are ready to demonstrate their displeasure with the jury’s verdict and will probably do so by burning down what little is left of Kenosha and any other little town or village in the area. Watch what Antifa and BLM do in other cities in America too.
Any rioting that happens now, anywhere, opens to Constitution-loving Americans, the greatest opportunity to enforce the rule of law. Rioters should be declared “Outlaws,” thus allowing police and National Guard forces to employ any force necessary, even deadly, to stop the threat(s). The media will go nuts, but that’s their job. Dead rioters piling up in the streets will send the most important message to their fellow rioters that they tread on dangerous streets to continue. Blue states failing to respond leaves vigilantism as the only alternative.
Remember, freedom is the goal; the Constitution is the way. Now go get ’em!
