Throughout the course of history, our country has been run by multiple forces of influence, the intelligence community, and the lobbyist that stay off the ledger. Under Ronald Reagan, both George Bush Sr. and Donald Rumsfeld held great influence in the administration. Senior Bush described Rumsfeld as arrogant and in many other scathing words. Bush was the 11th Director of the CIA. Rumsfeld was with the Secretary of Defense under Gerald Ford, and would later recruit Dick Cheney to succeed him. The Bush/Cheney/Rumsfeld triangle would continue for decades, culminating in George W. Bush’s presidency.

After the terror attacks of September 11th, the democrats stated that Cheney led the administration and George W. was the figurehead. The military-industrial complex profited greatly during these years, and Cheney’s company, Haliburton, was awarded contracts throughout war zones. The presidential office once again was compromised with shadow figures setting policy. In fact, the Patriot Act was already written long before September 11th. The events of that day simply enabled it to be put in place successfully.

Under Barack Obama, there were covert bombings. A man who had won a Nobel peace prize was a hypocrite, bombing 540 times, killing 3,797, 324 that were civilians, in unclaimed wars in Yemen, Pakistan, and Somalia. The defense culture continued to set agendas for his presidency. During this time, he also elevated Susan Rice to power.

Donald Trump was a disrupter. A reality television businessman, who had a knack for controversy, bankruptcy, and getting things done on his terms. Looking back over his presidency, he had more turnover than an unemployment line. But perhaps, he was protecting the country against the shadow government and inserting his own interest. And, perhaps that is what made the attacks on him unrelenting.

The current president is absent from the Press Briefing room. He shows up to sign documents that have been curated by his policy decider, Susan Rice. A holdover from the Obama administration that is now asserting her influence in everyday American policy. No one elected Susan Rice, but she is one of the shadow influencers. Who is behind her?

The DNC announced Joe Biden will not need to debate against any challengers. They will support him in 2024. The shadow government continues.
