The Standard Excuse: I Don’t Remember and I Forgot!
Listen carefully and you can just hear the sound of desperate Demon-rats back-paddling to get away from their sinking ship. They went two victims too far in their despicable scheme and now the prop wash of public opinion is threatening to overturn their little coracle. They are paddling in circles because of their clumsy handling of an ‘out of left field’ last minute accusation, that has incensed the American public at Democrat shenanigan’s. Conservative Americans have now been aroused and present a clear and present danger to further Democrat pretensions who may soon find themselves wanderers in the political wilderness.
But, unsurprisingly, as usual, Democrats being Democrats deny everything, admit nothing and blame somebody else for whatever predicament they find themselves in at the moment. In this case it’s their collapsing scheme to bring down Donald Trump’s by destroying Trumps SCOTUS nominee, the highly respected Judge Brett Kavanaugh. To Democrats, Kavanaugh’s personal reputation is simply collateral damage in their attempt to destroy Trump before the court can be lost for several generations to Trump’s Constitutionalism.
The problem of course was a lack of evidence to corroborate Dr. Fords testimony, both verbally and in her letter. While she was a hostile witness, for appearance sake, she had to be treated like the sainted Joan d’Arc. I’m as certain that Dr. Ford, like Joan d’Arc, will fine herself a victim, martyred on the stake of Democrat lies that, like Kavanaugh, will render her also as ‘collateral damage’ to the Demoncrats reputation destroying machine.
I had recommended that the Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman, Chuck Grassley should demand of Sen. Feinstein her resignation from the Judiciary committee before any further proceedings because she, Feinstein, had lost the trust of the Chairman and other committee members as well as the American public. He could have also pointed out that she was a repulsive, conniving, unethical cheat and fraud whose word would no longer could be received with any level of trust.
Well, he didn’t, but he did, in his way, sternly defend the process. He chastised Democrats as a whole, and laid out the facts as they were, not as Feinstein and Schumer thought they should be and that the vote would proceed on Friday as scheduled. Spending one more minute of the committee’s time listening to two other Democrat generated victims of Kavanaugh’s teen age years depredations were slapped down by Grassley with the contempt they so richly deserved.
As for Feinstein’s reaction when Sen. Grassley commented on her failure to bring the Ford letter accusing Kavanaugh of attempted rape forward, but leaking it to the media instead was met, as expected, with her orotund denial of everything, admitting nothing and blaming somebody else.
Republicans suddenly became animated after Judge Kavanaugh so deliciously defended his reputation. Lindsey Graham, who recently had the heavy yoke of John McCain’s fellowship finally lifted from his shoulders laid it all out plain and simple that the Democrats were no better than evil bushwhackers and deserving of the contempt of all decent citizens. Perhaps in November.
You can bet, in the ensuing weeks, that Democrats will suffer an individual memory loss at what they said here and what they have said before, an exercise in: “I don’t remember and I forgot.”
Remember, freedom is the goal, the Constitution is the way. Now, go get ‘em!
