Donald Trump is facing arrest as early as tomorrow, according to multiple sources. This story has been plastered all over the news since last week. It is my opinion that it is a complete waste of time for all involved. The arrest of a former president will go down as a grave miscalculation in the gamesmanship of politics. Democrats that cheer this on will further ignite the fuel of his supporters, and the Republicans will be stuck being consumed with Trump instead of developing a vision.

Credit Suisse will be purchased by UBS Bank in Switzerland, with the country guaranteeing up to 100 billion in support funds. This gesture comes on the heels of the Saudis propping up Credit Suisse just several months ago. The fallout from the purchase will be passed to the middle class as bank fees adjust and inflation will continue to spiral out of control once again. Interference from the government is prolonging and worsening future pain.

These stories are wasting our time. And our time is valuable.

I was curious if my libertarian-leaning views would be matched by the views of the left on these stories. I invite Lefty Lehman to see if he is excited about the possible arrest of Trump. We found more common ground than ever before on these stories, and I even hear him mention lobbyists creating big government problems. Perhaps there is still hope for him.
