What has been true in theology schools now for almost two hundred years, has now reared its head yet again today in a new form. In this case, the Marxism and fascism that both originated in Germany, then was stopped (in large part) by England, has now come to the US, where it has become a corrupted witch’s brew of both fascism melded with Marxism.

Note that I am taking a few liberties here with the “created in Germany” statement. Fascism, as originally defined by the Italian Mussolini, was his “third way,” the merger of the socialist state with co-opted, crony big business (can anyone say Amazon or Google?). And it is true that Hungarian George Soros – the man who self-admittedly co-operated with the Nazis in his youth – is one of the leading “unlights” behind the great evil impacting the US, and the world. So this model, based on the quote above, is only meant as a heuristic aid. And further, while England was the first firebreak against Nazism, the US provided the muscle to end it, and was the main force in breaking the USSR. As well, the US has been an extremely strong bastion of theological truth in many ways (think Billy Graham, Wheaton College), so please hold the above axiom lightly – the goal here is simply to provide a general intellectual springboard to a novel concept, heretofore written about nowhere else – fasco-Marxism.

Precisely as the US took theology, and made, generally speaking, a corrupted, unthinking hash of it (think people like Jim Bakker here), so the US has taken fascism and Marxism, blended them up in a foul-tasting soufflé, the recipe created by, ironically enough, the relocated to NYC Frankfurt School, and served with a side of technocracy, led by Klaus Schwab, the son of a Nazi war machine manager. Yes, the Nazi scion Schwab, and the scions of those who fled the Nazis, as well as people like Henry Kissinger, who served in the US military against the Nazis in WWII, have now joined forces and foisted their nightmare on the world.

As a side observation, you will note that Schwabs’ Swiss-German father, Eugen, managed the Escher-Wyass company, out of its location in Ravensburg, which Hitler awarded the title of “National Socialist Model Company.” The Swiss company provided the Wehrmacht significant amounts of weapons, including parts for fighter planes and parts for the hydro-turbines that made it into the Norsk heavy water project – the precursor to a Nazi atom bomb. Nearly 3,600 forced laborers worked in Ravensburg, including at Escher Wyss, according to the city archivist, and Karl Schweizer, a local Lindau historian, states that Escher-Wyss maintained a small special camp for forced laborers on the factory premises. So, yes… one of the key players in the Great Reset is not only is a child of the Nazis, but is repeating their main doctrines in the merger of the state and Big Business.

Origins of Fascism

Mussolini, in his Doctrine of Fascism, 1932, imagines the merger of the socialist state with co-opted, crony big business, where big business does the heavy lifting of the state. The individual and his rights are of no consequence. Wrote Mussolini: “Fascism conceives of the State as an absolute, in comparison with which all individuals or groups are relative, only to be conceived in their relation to the State.” Of course, as we have seen with the murder of 100 million souls by communism, per The Black Book of Communism, Courtois, et al., Harvard Univ. Press, the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics (as well as other communist countries) treated individuals and groups exactly the same as the National Socialists (Nationalsozialistische Deutsche Arbeiterpartei, NSDAP, aka the Nazis). Tomato, to-mah-toe.

One current example of the present-day Nazi merger of state and crony big biz is lead Covid/Great Reset petri dish Australia. Aussie Max Igan spills the beans on the Aussie Big Business takeover here by video, or if you prefer to text, as also reported in the Brisbane Times. In this case, Australia is cutting people’s unemployment, retirement pensions, confiscating bank accounts, etc. If you don’t knuckle under – but third-party private business is doing the consigliere work on behalf of the government. Is this what is meant by Biden’s “public/private partnership?” Exactly as Mussolini wrote, the state is absolute, and individuals are only conceived in their relation to the state – except now it is not only Australia, but in the blue states and cities of governors Newsome, Cuomo/Hochul, Pritzker, Brown, Mayors DiBlasio, Lightfoot,  Durkin, and AOC and her squad. In fact, in New York City, rather than let historic individual rights remain, as of early November, the city is literally burning, all to allow the state to wield supremacy. For example, both CWW7News and black run news outlet BCNN1 reported that NYC has issued a state-wide call for firefighters from both Long Island and Upstate New York as one-third of city firefighters remain unvaccinated ahead of the November 1 deadline, leaving 26 firehouses shuttered. In fact, this week, a young boy, Robert Resto, 7, died in a fire that should have been put out in time if the FDNY – former heroes of 9/11, but now discarded scum – had been on the job.

Fascism and Marxism – Brothers from Another Mother

But here is the rub, and where the great American souffle comes in. Both fascism and Marxism see the individual as subordinate. Hitler had his depersonalizing concentration camps; little known to Americans are the perhaps six million more Stalin murdered in the Ukrainian Holodomor (exact figures vary, but then, as Stalin purportedly said, the death of one man is a tragedy; the death of a million, a mere statistic). Both subordinated the individual to the socialist dystopias of Nazi Germany, Mussolini’s Italy, Stalin’s Germany, and later Mao’s China, Uncle Ho’s Vietnam, and now Venezuela, North Korea, and soon NYC, Portland, California, and Seattle.

Marxism and National Socialism – the latter, which adopted explicitly socialist planks at its first convention, Munich, February 20, 1920, see its 25 points here – are cousins. Both are socialist, but fascism differs by being nationalist (and in Germany’s case, Aryan oriented), whereas Marxism is internationalist, as we are seeing in the destruction of American borders by faux president Biden, as goaded on by George Soros’ Open Society. Different sides of the same coin. Also, Marxism wants that state to directly control the means of production, whereas fascism – as outlined in British Cambridge historian Adam Tooze’s book, Wages of Destruction, utilizes the private sector to achieve the state’s end. Perhaps this is why Hitler himself said, “There is more that binds us to Bolshevism than separates us from it… I have always made allowances for this circumstance, and given orders that former Communists are to be admitted to the party at once.”

Perhaps this is why, under the Great Reset governance model, favored corporations form “public-private partnerships,” where we now have a corporate-state hybrid unaccountable to the constituents of national governments. Your leaders now? Bill Gates (net worth: $138 billion), Mark Zuckerberg (net worth: $119 billion), Jeff Bezos (net worth: $197 billion), or the world’s richest person, Elon Musk (net worth: $317 billion), along with Big Pharma (and soon to be Big Green with its carbon passports) tell us if we can go out of our house, go to work, or even shop for groceries.

And if you, gentle reader, get in the way by voting… well, there are always a few score thousand ballots to be printed up in Arizona, Georgia, Pennsylvania, and the like to take care of that pesky little problem from the Helots.

The Standard Objection

The immediate objection is always raised: Why then, did Hitler invade Russia? Leaving aside the Molotov-Ribbentrop Pact of 1939, of course, internecine battles are often the worst. And clearly, the nationalist bent of Germany led to its war to achieve lebensraum against Russia – be it a socialist cousin or not. And while both countries fought a war, neither had the primacy of individual rights at the fore – neither was fighting for the right of self-determination. In fact, Stalin even had Soviet POWs taken by the Germans shot upon their liberation.

But here is the major question: Take Hitler and Operation Barbarossa completely out of the equation. Why, then, did Russia and China have a war in 1969 on the Sino-Soviet border, near Zhenbao (Damansky) Island on the Ussuri (Wusuli) River, near Manchuria? Though we will never know for sure, some reports say that Brezhnev approached Nixon to see if there would be any US response if communist Russia nuked communist China. Needless to say, the Sino-Soviet border war came close to being a full-scale war. If they were both communists, how did this happen?  And later, why was there the communist on communist Sino-Vietnamese war in 1979, which was in response to yet another war between Communist Vietnam and the Communist Khmer Rouge in Cambodia? For that matter, why did the Bolsheviks have most of the communist Mensheviks murdered, or communist Stalin have communist Trotsky given the “dirt nap” treatment with an ice pick? Why was Robespierre dispatched by his own team and his own guillotine? Answer why these wars and murders occurred before tendering your contention that Nazis and Marxists were polar opposites. They weren’t – they were socialist cousins.

The Religion of Fascism and Communism

Insofar as “religion” is anything that tells us where we came from, why we are here, and where we are going, both Nazism and Communism are religions. The latter tells us we come from random mutations, we are here to serve the state, and our end is to fulfill the historical necessity. Atheism is its official tenet, and even in the US, atheism has been ruled a religion, at least in the US Court of Appeals Second Circuit, where neither they nor the lower court which at first dismissed the case, questioned the ability of atheists to make a claim under RFRA (Religious Freedom Restoration Act). From this ruling, it appears that atheism may be treated as the equivalent of religion in most legal disputes.

Nazism, once you read its leaders deeply, is most akin to a Gaia worshipping cult, with a deep hatred of Christianity, and a worship of the blood and the soil. For example, Himmler used pre-Christian German religion as his starting point, to which he added a hefty dose of the contemporary occult for good measure. In short, Himmler wanted a restoration of ancient paganism in Germany.

So, complete materialism with the communists, or revival of cults and pagan “gods” under the fascists. The former is bald materialism, the other materialism with a toupee, in that a non-transcendent God always, ipso facto, has man at the center, and is necessarily confined to what man can control, or thinks he can control. Similar, though not identical to Marxism, the fascist paganism was physical, corporeal, material, and palpable, which was seen in its proto-greenie approach to nature (which greenism the Marxist now appeal to, to take over everything.)

Cultural Marxism

With both communism, as well as Nazism, the state grants your rights. Rights are not intrinsic, and there are no inalienable rights. Irwin Lutzer wrote that “We are told there are reasons for the failure of the Marxist regime in Russia; cultural Marxism or socialism would fix these weaknesses… by taking over companies and wealth incrementally. This change could be installed democratically by the will of the people (or perhaps more realistically, by faked votes representing the fake will of the people!) Once they see the ‘value’ of this form of government, they will want it.” Or then again, maybe not.

Putting it All Together: Fasco-Marxism

GK Chesterton told us “It is only by believing in God that we can criticize the government. Once we abolish God, the government becomes God.” The church has capitulated to the woke mob; there is no transcendent God now above culture, so for all practical purposes, there is no God.

Enter the Marxists, here in the form of Herbert Marcuse, who wrote, “the traditional idea of revolution and the traditional strategy of revolution has ended. These ideas are old-fashioned… What we must undertake is a type of diffuse and dispersed disintegration of the system.” So, you have lost your country to a Marcusian Marxist takeover of your country, welded to a fascist merger of the state with Big Business in the form of Google, Amazon, Big Banking, Big Pharma, and the rest of the usual suspects.

As Nick Sorrentino wrote, “Both Nazis and Communists are forever more power to the state. Those with a classically liberal drift (classical liberalism is the same as conservatism) are on the other end of the political spectrum (assuming we want to be intellectually honest). As Daniel Hannan points out below, one of the key differences between the two similar camps is that Hitler (and others) saw that it was just more efficient to keep the bourgeois factory owners and managers in place than to liquidate the entire class as they had in Soviet Russia. It wasn’t like the factory owners, and other business owners weren’t under the thumb of the party vanguard post-1933, or that the industrialists even “owned” the Nazi Party. They were just kept on and co-opted in technocratic German style. And as Laurence Dodd’s noted in UK’s Telegraph, at http://www.telegraph.co.uk/opinion/, “Goebbels never doubted that he was a socialist. He understood Nazism to be a better and more plausible form of socialism than that propagated by Lenin. Instead of spreading itself across different nations, it would operate within the unit of the Volk“…. Nazism would simply deliver “der echte Sozialismus”: real socialism, while at the same time getting rid of the Jews. In fact, in Mein Kampf, Hitler wrote expressly on the socialist state vs. liberty: “The unity of a nation’s spirit and will are worth far more than the freedom of the spirit and will of an individual; and that the higher interests involved in the life of the whole must here set the limits and lay down the duties of the interests of the individual.”

Compare this to the US Constitution and the spirit behind it, or even the Magna Carta. And you need not guess which side the US Democrat party is on.

In sum, fascism and Marxism are simply cousins… which in this case have married, and now have hideous deformed offspring. Which, come to think of it, you might catch a glimpse of on your next visit to Washington DC.
