The utility companies have thus far had little to say about the alarming cost projections to operate electric vehicles (EVs) or the increased rates that they will be required to charge their customers. It is not just the total amount of electricity required⏤but the...
To Conquer the Enemy Within Called FEAR – Within Our Own Hearts
In my own frail humanity, I’m too often reminded that my best efforts at trying to bring some good to this world are all too easily stifled by a variety of obstacles, some of which are well beyond my ability to control. Take my last two radio shows, for example. I was down with a rather debilitating virus (I haven’t any idea if it was Covid), and putting together those shows was very difficult for me to complete. Of course, installing new flooring into my daughter’s new home didn’t do anything to speed my recovery. I’ve felt completely wiped out for the past two weeks. Maybe that had to do with the fact that I had spent the previous two weeks on the road. Having driven from Oregon to Scottsdale to assist family members with moving was tiring enough. Moving—well, anyone who has moved a household knows how fun that is. But then I drove to participate in the American Frontline Doctors White Coat Summit event in San Antonio, Texas. After preaching on Sunday morning, I then traveled further east to speak at a prayer revival camp for a few days. Then I departed to visiting some great physicians who are being persecuted by the Texas Medical Board. They needed support.
In the heat of battle, as well as the Arizona and Texas heat, it doesn’t take long for a committed soldier to remind himself that he still belongs to the human race. By the time I returned to Arizona, I had lost almost 15 pounds. That’s when I got the virus. Now, still in recovery, I’ve had my moments of questioning the sanity of so many pursuits. But only for a fleeting moment.
Then I thought about President Trump who seemed to run on indefatigably with a schedule that made mine look like a stroll through the park. And then there are my medical colleagues who so graciously are caring for Covid patients with early treatment, despite receiving the brunt of constant insults, numerous investigations, threats to livelihood, family stressors, discouragement, and trying themselves to survive in the evil pandemic world. Granted, the narrative of the sinister pandemic plot seems to be gradually crumbling, but the warriors who have held the lines of battle are still very few in number. The remainder of professionals who do know the truth but have surrendered their souls to fear—these are the majority, and they will likely die in their fear. Heroes are made, not born.
In an age such as ours where a crafty narrative is still unfolding to control the population and destroy American liberty, people are quickly being forced into a position whereby they must make a rapid choice: preserve their own hide, or fall prey to the powerful elites.
Of course, initially, this was a false choice. We only needed to stand our ground and support true science. But as the lie was perpetuated, the population grew ever warier, more afraid. Once the choice of safe caution was made, the trap was set. We have now arrived at a time much like Nazi Germany, when neighbors will rat on neighbors, in the hope of preserving their own hide. As a result, those of us who dare to preach the truth is all the more heavily persecuted now, and the price of freedom is more grave. Such a sad testimony this is to the land of brave freedom fighters who once showed the world how it was done. I am embarrassed for my country.
Many Americans, though they may not speak it, feel inwardly ashamed of their own cowardice. They likely despise themselves for surrendering to blind fear, knowing now how quickly it drains life from one’s soul. In false confidence, some may try to convince themselves that they did what was right for themselves and their families. But deep down, they know. They never questioned the many obvious absurdities and inconsistencies. They made no effort to investigate the facts. And now they themselves must reside behind the bars of their own prison walls. Such people are most to be pitied.
And now America lies hopeless, stranded on a calm sea, aware that she is on the brink of her own destruction. The paralysis induced by living in fear is not easily recovered.
This is only because when man loses his fear of God, all true courage is lost. If man will not defend his own honor, how then can he expect to defend his brother’s freedom? It simply is impossible. Self-sacrifice comes not initially from one’s heart, but from one’s experience. Anyone who has tasted of the goodness from the cross of Jesus Christ knows this fact to be true. An army’s strength comes from its leader. Only a love for one’s leader will nullify all fear. And only a perfect love casts out all fear.
The art of self-sacrifice is now all but lost. But it needn’t be. That’s just what America needs right now. Self-sacrifice. We must call upon the Mighty Warrior who granted us favor in the dawn’s early light, The Great Warrior King who strengthens the soul against all enemies. And we must avow to conquer the enemy within—the enemy called fear within our own hearts, and then the enemy within our very borders.
Ye who would—rise up now! Now is the time!
