The President announced that he has authorized the declassification of all documents related to both the Trump-Russia investigation, and the emails belonging to failed presidential candidate and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton. This includes all related documents concerning the Russia Collusion scandal, which he has continued to describe as a hoax.
In a tweet Tuesday night Trump said, “I have fully authorized the total declassification of any, and all documents pertaining to the single greatest political CRIME in American History, the Russia Hoax. Likewise, the Hillary Clinton Email Scandal. No redactions.”
Trump’s announcement came hours after the Director of National Intelligence (DNI) John Ratcliffe had declassified and released additional documents from those he had previously released over the last several weeks.
Trump’s intelligence chief said in a one-page letter to the Republican and Democratic leaders on the House and Senate intelligence committees, “At the direction of the President of the United States, I have declassified the enclosed documents, inclusive of redactions. These documents are responsive to ongoing congressional oversight and investigation requests.”
The recently released documents by the DNI were the handwritten personal notes from former CIA Director John Brennan when he secretly briefed former President Barack Obama on July 28, 2016. Those notes contained and talked about the purported plan of Hillary Clinton, the 2016 Democratic presidential candidate, to tie candidate Donald Trump to Russia. The purpose and reason for this plan was to serve as a means of distracting the American public from her use of her now famous private email server. Contained on that private server and computer network was an abundance of U.S. classified intelligence information, including Top Secret U.S. Special Access Programs (SAP).
The revelation of Brennan’s private personal notes validates and confirms the fact that there was a full-fledged coup underway against Donald Trump. The revelation further confirms and shows as it is now known that Hillary Clinton in fact hatched the plan in order to divert attention away from her use of a private email server by falsely tying then-candidate Donald Trump to Russia.
Key to the fact that we can now confirm is that former CIA Director John Brennan briefed President Obama on that plot. It also reveals and it is imperative that the American people, will now also learn what then-Vice President Joe Biden knew about this conspiracy, and when he knew it.
Also remember, it was Biden who suggested to use the Logan Act against General Mike Flynn. That will be another story related to the hoax that will be further clarified and confirmed. More will be written on that.
With that, now, the questions that must be asked of Joe Biden are as follows. What did Biden know about Clinton’s plan to use the Russia Collusion hoax to try to smear Hillary Clinton’s political opponent, Donald Trump? Did Biden condone and support the plan? Did he express any misgivings about it, or did he remain silent? To that end, Biden MUST now give a full accounting of his knowledge and ALL his conversations about Clinton’s scheme, which was known to the highest reaches of the Obama and his administration.
Further, and this is also critical, DNI Ratcliffe in a statement to the media, said the declassified documents were also transmitted to the House and Senate Intelligence Committees Tuesday afternoon. These documents he noted explained that Brennan’s handwritten notes were taken after briefing Obama on the matter regarding Hillary Clinton’s plot against Donald Trump. We know already that House Intelligence Committee Chairman Representative Adam Schiff is incensed over the President’s full declassification order.
Also, the initial declassification of the documents is providing the Trump administration greater valuable additional insight into Russian activities from ‘REDACTED,’ the intelligence information that was gleaned from Director Brennan’s notes. In fact, to summarize, declassified intelligence in Brennan’s writing the “plan” alleged to be approved by Hillary Clinton was a proposal from one of her foreign policy advisers to vilify Donald Trump by stirring up a scandal claiming interference by the Russian security service.
Confirmation shows Clinton planned in July 2016 on tying then-candidate Trump to Russia’s hack of the Democratic National Committee to distract from her use of a private email server, as well as a September 2016 CIA counterintelligence referral on the allegations to former FBI Director James Comey and Deputy Assistant Director for Counterintelligence Operations Peter Strzok, the report claimed.
With regard to Director Brennan, he responded to Ratcliffe’s declassification move on CNN on Tuesday night, saying, “It is appalling, his selective declassification of information that clearly is designed to advance the political interests of Donald Trump and Republicans who are aligned with him.”
Further, Democratic Senate Intelligence Committee Vice Chairman Mark Warner said last week that “it’s very disturbing to me that 35-days before an election, a director of national intelligence would release unverified Russian RUMINT, the unofficial acronym for rumor intelligence.”
The point should also be made that Ratcliffe last week noted that “this is not Russian disinformation and has not been assessed as such by the intelligence community.” Tuesday was not the first time that President Trump has tweeted about declassifications. If you recall, on September 6, 2018, Trump tweeted that he may carry out “Declassification to find Additional Corruption.” So, that promise did in fact come to fruition on Tuesday night.
Further, the President has previously promised FISA declassification action for a long time, for instance, and a White House press release that month said that Trump was directing his agencies to “provide for the immediate declassification” of a number of materials, including the June 2017 application to the FISA court in the matter of Carter W. Page, as well as all FBI reports of interviews prepared in connection with all Carter Page FISA applications.
While a federal judge in May 2019 said that Trump’s “tweets” did not constitute formal declassification orders. After which, Trump gave Attorney General William Barr “full and complete authority to declassify information” related to his investigation of the Trump-Russia investigators, and Barr selected U.S. Attorney John Durham to lead this yet-ongoing and wide-ranging inquiry. Since than the President has provided full formal declassification authority to declassify information to both Acting DNI Rick Grenell and now DNI John Ratcliffe.
In addition to what will be further revealed about the involvement of Brennan, Comey, Hillary and Biden, there is more that will be made clear. One critically important aspect of the Russia Collusion hoax is it will tie together foreign involvement linked to the Obama administration. DOJ Inspector General Michael Horowitz had said FBI interviews with British ex-spy Christopher Steele’s primary sub-source, U.S.-based and Russian-trained lawyer Igor Danchenko, “raised significant questions about the reliability of the Steele election reporting” and cast doubt on some of its biggest claims.
At this point while we are waiting to read about more revelations, we can already surmise a number of take-aways based on what we already knew, and which is now confirmed. Certainly, as it pertains to Hillary Clinton, this now confirms that this sort of behavior is SOP (standard operating procedure) for Hillary. Hence, it highlights that she has a propensity for these types of lies and distractions … just like her wacko story about the fake video that resulted in Benghazi.
President Trump’s order and authorization actually depoliticizes any indictments that Barr and Durham are preparing.
So, you might ask Why? Because it fully reveals deliberate criminal intent by the senior leadership in the Obama administration. It will confirm and validate their criminal acts and activities (FISA abuse, spying, falsifying documents, colluding, and corroborating between federal departments and agencies) against an elected- and sitting President.
It will reveal who knew, when they knew it, who is complicit, who did what, when, where, and how, and who lied. Certainly, we will find out that all that was tied back to the Obama administration and the who, what, where, when, and how much Obama and Biden knew about it.
Finally, it pretty much reveals and confirms that this was in fact, a “felony criminal conspiracy”… to remove President Trump from office, a coup d’état – and a crime called TREASON!
To that end, it will now become public record, front and center, in the eyes of Americans willing to read it as fact. There will be no doubt or speculation any further. I suspect President Trump knew he had this option all along. He kept his powder dry until it was strategically necessary to give the order and authorization in the eleventh hour.
