Are there exceptions to the Constitution? Can government violate the Constitution to protect us? And if the answer is no, what are We the People to do about it? From court opinions to executive orders, those in government are trashing the Constitution of the United States. For the most part, Americans seem more than willing to sit back and let it happen. But if the supreme law of the land is ignored, then government no longer protects your rights. And if the Constitution and the government no longer protect your rights, it created, who will ensure you can speak, print, and worship freely? Unless the American people stand up to force the government to only exercise powers we have legitimately consented to, America will continue to devolve from the shining light on a hill to the banana republic that so many are calling for.
