Tweets like this one absolutely invigorate Trump’s base⏤but there is always a consequence to pissing off your enemies. The media and President never had a honeymoon – they went straight into the 25 year cycle of a worn-out marriage. You might recall the President not only cancelling the New York Times and Washington Post subscriptions⏤he also demanded that all Federal Agencies cancel their subscriptions as well. This was Trump’s way of flipping the media off as irrelevant. Call it one step beyond fake news⏤call it irrelevant news!
The news from AG Barr that the Durham investigation would become a criminal investigation rattled Washington. The Deep State players are aware that Trump is closing in. The Justice Department officials have shifted an administrative review of the Russia investigation closely overseen by Attorney General William Barr to a criminal inquiry. The move gives the prosecutor, John H. Durham, the power to subpoena witness testimony and documents, to convene a grand jury and to file criminal charges.
