Yes, There, but for the grace of God go I. How often have we said this proverb out loud or whispered it to our conscience? As we watch the ugly carnage in Ukraine, perhaps these words are apropos, “There… but for the grace of God go I.”
Perhaps what’s occurring in Ukraine should make us stop and think, if only for a moment, of the domestic threats to our freedom, liberty, sovereignty? Yes, I’m talking about the dangers Joe Biden is advancing here at home as the obstinate compromised puppet of the woke, radical progressives in his Democrat party.
I believe the war in Ukraine was entirely avoidable, at least in the short run and perhaps longer. But, unfortunately, the Ukrainians, and we, likewise, are victims of a “Butterfly Effect” that Joe Biden launched with counterproductive policies and actions over the past 15 months.
First, Biden’s declared war on fossil fuels made us not only an energy-dependent nation once again but importantly left us helpless to rescue Europe from their energy dependency on Russia.
Second, Biden can’t resist the temptation to destroy policies implemented by former President Donald J. Trump. So Biden undid Trump’s sanctions on Russia’s Nord Stream 2 pipeline, further enslaving Germany and other European nations to Vladimir Putin’s mercy. If Putin stopped gas and oil exports to Europe, Europeans would freeze to death; not to mention the collapse of their infrastructures.
Third, the negative consequences of Biden’s performance in ending our involvement in Afghanistan will continue to plague America until there’s an entire turnover of our government and installation of an entirely new philosophy of government.
Fourth, we sent necessary defensive weapons to Ukraine late, very late, too late.
Fifth, After his departure in 2016, Joe Biden never thought he’d return to high-office again. Thus he felt free to influence-peddle in China, Russia, and Ukraine, countries part of his portfolio while in the Obama administration. Joe Biden is compromised, and the evidence mounts daily.
Join me as I talk through how we got to this point of moral failure and utter shame as we watch more fellow human beings obliterated on the altar of Biden’s policy derelictions. Then, join me for “Ukraine – There, but for the grace of God go I.”
