What happens when Washington, D.C. does what the Constitution forbids? Can we still call ourselves a republic if those who represent us in Washington exercise unjust powers we have not consented to? We call ourselves the land of the free and the home of the brave, but day after day, the American people sit back while those in Washington, D.C. rob us of our rights, extort us, embezzle funds for purposes we did not authorize, then bribe us with our own money?
Have the American people become so enslaved to government largess that they will not stand for freedom of rights? Have we become so dependent on bribes from Washington, D.C. that we are willing to sell our children’s futures for a bowl of pottage? How can we call ourselves the home of the brave when it appears the American people are too afraid to stand up for their rights?
In this episode of The Constitution Study, I will show you ten examples of those in Washington, D.C., from both parties who are criminally exercising powers we did not authorize, stealing your right to think, speak, and even live freely. It makes me weep for the country we are leaving, both my daughter and the rest of her generation. I wonder, will the American people wake up before the very idea of freedom and liberty have been extinguished from our society?
