You’ve probably heard the saying…
Good times make weak men,
Weak men make bad times,
Bad times make strong men,
Strong men make good times.
A quick look at America today, I think, shows that we are in bad times. How did we get here? Weak men have brought us to this lowly place. How did they do that? By hiring representatives that were not worthy of the office, then not holding them accountable for their malfeasance.
If the saying is correct, then the only way we are going to get out of these bad times is for good men to stand up and do something. I believe the first thing we need to do is educate ourselves. Then, once we know what our rights are and how to defend and assert them, we must throw off the shackles of dependency and learn once again to be the land of the free and the home of the brave.
