Welcome Back to ‘A Woke School Year’
All across the country, parents are sending their most prize possessions-children, to school for another school year. While last year’s school term had its’ challenges with hybrid and virtual learning, this year welcomes challenges, as well.
Moms For America founder Kimberly Fletcher returns to “After Dark” to give parents tools to start the school year. She acknowledges parents will be bombarded with unique challenges, including mask mandates, vaccines, and Critical Race Theory, but there is hope.
Fletcher encourages moms to get involved and seek out other moms who share their belief system and organize to stand up to woke school boards. If all else fails, parents must “strike” and pull their kids out of the school system and educate them at home. For many, the idea of educating children at home seems like a daunting task, “there are so many ways you can do it, and there are plenty of moms out there who have been doing this (homeschooling) for years.” There are support groups like religious organizations out there to help.
Despite an ever-changing public school system that is becoming politically woke, she advises moms to stay strong. “When you poke mama bear this much,” the mother of eight explains, “things are going to turn around really quick.”
Kimberly Fletcher is the mother of eight and wife of a retired Air Force officer. She founded “Moms For America” in 2004. She is the author of “WOMEN: America’s Last Best Hope.” Aside from being a mom, she is a frequent guest on Fox News, Sinclair Broadcasting, Townhall, and columnist for The Blaze and Breitbart. She has over 17 years of experience in grassroots activism, including working with two presidential campaigns.
