The current 34-felony Manhattan court indictment stating no predicate crime against former President Donald Trump is but the latest in a long series of contrived Democrat distractions to direct attention away from a morass of domestic and foreign Biden administration disasters and discussions of vital national policy issues we should truly care about.

Consequentially – whether by design or default, and wisely for them or not – such incessant assaults are provoking Republicans to circle wagons in defense of Trump as the most likely top 2024 GOP presidential primary contender in a field of strong candidates.

And while steering the prosecutorial persecution media narrative to make everything bad about Trump is actually good for him in the primaries, the deciding general election jury remains out regarding a contest against arguably the most incompetent and failed presidential Democrat opponent in modern U.S. history.

The White House released a report last week blaming the Trump administration for the chaotic Afghanistan withdrawal debacle that left 13 U.S. service personnel dead and abandoned billions of dollars of advanced armaments along with the enormously strategic Bagram air base under Taliban control.

Somehow, this was claimed to be Trump’s fault, although it occurred long after he left the Oval Office.

We are also expected to distrust our lyin’ eyes when it comes to other Democrat White House and congressionally dominated major foreign and domestic disasters.

> We have experienced American energy independence achieved by the Trump presidency, reversed by a war on fossil fuels for the alleged purpose of ending climate change. Meanwhile, electric vehicles that depend upon rare earth materials from China are pushed on already overstressed power grids. Beijing continues with impunity to build the equivalent of about one new coal-fired plant every 10 days.

> We have watched our Strategic Petroleum Reserve (SPR) dangerously depleted to lower gas prices ahead of the 2022 midterm elections while simultaneously selling nearly 100 million barrels of oil to China.

> We have witnessed painful inflation caused by profligate spending devaluing the dollar as the Chinese yuan now competes for dominance as the global reserve currency in international trade, as evidenced in the Middle East and Latin America.

> We have grimaced in disbelief as the Biden administration uses Russia to broker the desperate resurrection of a fatally failed nuclear Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (“nuclear deal”) with Iran; at the same time, we support Ukraine against Russian invasion and Iran drones and missiles are attacking our troops in Syria.

> We have recently watched a Chinese spy balloon sail across America, sending real-time data to Beijing over strategic military sites characterized as an inconsequential weather balloon that somehow drifted off course.

> We have seen the radical wokification of our military discourage enlistments and budgets flatten as Chinese buildups apparently prepare for war over Taiwan.

> We have observed the surrender of U.S. sovereignty as millions of unvetted immigrants and tons of opioids, including deadly fentanyl, pour across our essentially open southern border with Mexico.

> We have endured rampantly rising crime encouraged by progressive anti-police and prosecution movements, sap the social and economic lifeblood of great American cities.

> We have seen the weaponization of a two-tier justice system treat school board protests over racist Critical Race Theory and revisionist anti-patriotic 1619 Project propagandizing of children as suspected terrorists while attackers of abortion facilities and mob intimidations of supreme court justices at their homes get free Justice Department passes.

> We have repeatedly countenanced Covid origin and response disinformation propagated by federal agencies such as the CDC while vaccines with unknowable long-term health effects continue to be pushed upon low-risk juveniles.

> We have discovered that New York Post revelations of the Biden family’s foreign influence peddling and other scandals on Hunter’s infamous “laptop from Hell,” which were known by the FBI for nearly a year and discredited by the mainstream media in the wake of the 2020 elections were entirely authentic.

> We have also become aware, through Elon Musk’s exposure of Twitter records, of messaging and censorship collaborations between the FBI and major media companies.

And again, yes…there is also that blatantly unequal and unfair personal treatment of Donald Trump: the untrue Russia, Russia, Russia collusion mantra; unsupportable impeachments one and two; the blatantly biased Jan. 6 riot congressional kangaroo court theater; the armed FBI raid on his private Mar-a-Lago residence including Melania’s wardrobe closet in search of documents he was authorized to declassify; etcetera.

Meanwhile, we painfully watch, and wince at sorry spectacles of a failed, national security-compromised, and obviously cognitively deteriorating president prevaricate and fumble through scripted and ad-hoc public statements which go unchecked by a presumably disinterested media.

How do Democrats get away with all of this?

The simple three-part answer is because they can. Because it is what they do. Because it’s all they got.

Disabuse yourself that such desperate distractions will change any time soon…they will only ramp up throughout the 2024 election campaign season.

Get used to it.

Don’t get succored in.

Don’t pay attention to transparent nonsense.

Don’t let them win!
