On December 31, 2019, we learned about an outbreak in Wuhan, China of the coronavirus, a deadly respiratory disease spread from contact with infected persons. As of February 25th, the disease had infected more than 78,000 people in 34 nations. More than 50 Americans are infected. Joining me today to discuss the coronavirus (Covid-19) and how we can protect ourselves from this and other infectious diseases is Dr. Marilyn Singleton. Dr. Singleton is a board-certified medical doctor (anesthesiologist, member of the Association of American Physicians and Surgeons, and Physicians for Reform), and an attorney. She is also a conservative activist and a 2012 congressional candidate.
