So as we have heard and read over the past several weeks — the mainstream media while reporting on a spy in Trump Campaign, at the same time then claims there was no spy. If you’re a bit confused about what is occurring on in the ongoing investigation of Russian collusion and its impact on our 2016 election, the role that the Trump campaign, the intelligence community, and the Clinton campaign may have had in what was happening … don’t be troubled that you can’t keep up or make heads or tails of what is happening.
Unfortunately, the progressive media has done a shocking and stupefying job blaming President Trump for muddying the waters, when it was the mainstream media itself that has been attempting, albeit deliberately … and succeeding, to confuse everyone by continuing to propagate the false narrative against Trump.
For example, it was the Washington Post and the New York Times that originally broke the stories that revealed that there was a spy in the Trump campaign.
However, if you were to read either of these papers recently, you would learn that President Trump is lying and that there never was a spy inside his campaign. Instead, as most of the mainstream media would claim what there was, was a “confidential informant.” They have will continue to argue that there was this unknown person who was gathering information about the internal workings and activities within the Trump campaign, and those of Trump’s associates aligned with the campaign. They will follow on with their claim that this unknown informant was then surreptitiously handing that information over to the FBI, who were secretly investigating the Trump campaign. Now, fortunately, for those of us who have some semblance of knowledge of intelligence operations, activities, and espionage, would all call this “SPYING”… but of course, the liberal media pundits tell us that it wasn’t “spying” — not one iota of such the practice. No sir!
This is how low the leftist-leaning media has sunk and the folks at Washington Post, the New York Times, MSNBC, CNN, etc. would like us to believe that the President is a liar for saying that the government was spying on his campaign… even though the government was in fact spying on his campaign – using multiple levels and massive and powerful capabilities at the hands of the national intelligence community. In one recent newscast on CNN we witnessed CNN’s Don Lemon explaining why there was no spy, even though there was. Similarly, then there’s CNN’s Jake Tapper wrongfully calling President Trump a liar — even though he’s not lying about this – which of course has since been validated and proven.
Thankfully, there are still some more moderate and Conservative media pundits out there who are willing to be intellectually honest. Mollie Hemingway recently appeared on Fox News where she went toe-to-toe with a Washington Post reporter who had the devil of a time explaining why her paper would reveal the fact that there was a spy in the campaign, before then arguing that there was no spy.
Further, Hemingway blasted the mainstream media, the intelligence community (rogue elements within, i.e.; the Deep State), and even Republican Senator Marco Rubio who earlier this week who defended the Deep State, saying; “I have seen ‘no evidence’ the FBI spied on Trump Campaign while explaining the hypocrisy that was self-evident in the ongoing Russia investigation and the coverage surrounding it. Rubio went on to say “…maybe Republican vs. Democrat isn’t the best way to view this, so much as the establishment vs. outsider.”
As a result, it appears Marco Rubio apparently is unaware that the FBI opened an investigation into the Trump campaign, he says there is no investigation into the Trump campaign — that is not a secret. They opened an investigation during the campaign, and what we have learned in the last week from reporting in the Washington Post and New York Times is that this investigation involved far more surveillance than anyone ever had any idea about. It wasn’t just a wiretap against a campaign aide that was able to wear a wiretap… it was also national security letters, which are secret subpoenas, and we know of at least one informant, someone secretly gathering information on the Trump campaign. And of course, there was the secretly requested FISA warrants derived from and authorized by the Obama administration — based on the phony Dossier.
We are supposedly not allowed to call that spying or the use of certain individual such as Cambridge professor with deep ties to both American and British intelligence who has been outed as an agent who snooped on the Trump presidential campaign for the FBI. That being academic Stefan Halper, who has a long history of conducting work for the intelligence community, to include the CIA. But again, in the normal world people call that spying. Nevertheless, whatever it is, it is unprecedented, and the lack of journalistic curiosity about what was going on, how this happened, and whether proper security and intelligence protocols were followed by the Obama administration is frankly scandalous.
Note: ‘Washington Post’ writer Karen Tumulty and ‘The Federalist’ columnist Mollie Hemingway debate the president’s accusation that the there was a spy inside his 2016 campaign and Trump lawyer Rudy Giuliani’s claim that Mueller’s investigation is run by “13 Democrats.”  In the debate, Tumulty vs. Hemingway: after breaking the story of spy in the Trump Campaign, the Washington Post said in an article;  “There Was No Spy” …
Mollie Hemingway is 100% correct, and the mainstream media hacks at CNN and elsewhere should be ashamed of the way they’ve covered the whole ongoing investigation, from the Special Counsel, the House and Senate Intelligence Committees, and even the DoJ Inspector General’s report that is forthcoming.
In fact, President Trump agrees with Hemingway and seems to appreciate her perspective on the matter, as noted in his text from May 29th;

Further, it gets even more ridiculous, when former Director of National Intelligence, James Clapper claimed that FBI Spying was meant to protect the Trump Campaign.
So the bottom line is this. I’m sorry to report, but despite what false narrative the Democrats, the mainstream media, and the political-left’s hacks put out, but I can assure you, the Obama White House was behind the Trump campaign secret and sinister investigation.
Now as it have been deemed; SpyGate answers the question. Did the Obama administration spy on Donald Trump’s campaign because it feared Russian hacking of the 2016 Election? Or was it merely a smokescreen to cover up the real reason: to keep Trump from winning the presidency or take him down if he did?
As the saying goes, timing is everything. Recent revelations keep pushing back the beginning of the CIA and FBI investigation into “Russian hacking” or “meddling” in the 2016 Election further and further in time.
This is significant, since the farther back in time the actual origin of the spying on Trump, the less likely it is that it had anything to do with Russian involvement in the 2016 Elections, but everything to do with stopping the surprising surge of Donald Trump during the GOP primaries and beyond. Right now, as far back as March 2016. Increasingly, a political motive seems not only likely, but almost certain.
