If you can control the emotions of the voters, you win. That seems to be the game plan of the left or Democrat party buoyed by the liberal media.

Believe it or not, when you look at it, it works.

Democrats have been successful in getting the public to buy into many of their progressive policies, which is mainly their woke ideology. Granted, those policies have been failures and not good for the country. But none of that matters if you can make your appeal emotionally.

Case in point, having a borderless border and allowing illegals to come in at will. This has increased crime and become a burden on many cities that are already struggling to close budget gaps from the lack of revenue not generated during the COVID shutdown.

Then there are the Drag Queens in school and gender-reaffirming surgery for children. Of course, both of these are adult issues. However, Democrats and the media are dressing them as children’s issues by appealing to individuals’ emotions.

If strippers aren’t allowed in schools as entertainment, why is it ok to have Drag Queens? Also, if children don’t choose their healthcare, why are they allowed to choose gender-reaffirming care to alter their genitals?

The country has never been more divided along racial lines than now. It’s not because racism is rampant, but more so that Democrats and the liberal media call every person or event they don’t like a racist. And this couldn’t be any further from the truth. However, they have managed to prey on the emotions of individuals in all these instances to make voters believe there is systemic racism in the country. If you disagree with their policies, you are a racist.

Greg Boulden, the host of America Emboldened with Greg Boulden on America Out Loud, joined the host of After Dark for this discussion. Boulden shared how emotions play a big role in politics for Democrats and how Republicans can mount a counter-offense.
