One of the things I’m particular about is the meaning of words. What happens when words lose their meanings? There are those among us who refuse to recognize the definition of the word “woman.” Justices of the Supreme Court who complain when their colleagues look to the authors of laws to understand them and even facts can be labeled as “misinformation” if they are politically disadvantageous. How long before dictionaries become useless?
The English language is being dissolved before our eyes, and the consequences are severe indeed. How can the American people communicate when we no longer share a common language? And how can laws be followed and enforced if we cannot agree on what the words mean? How can a culture exist when each person is a “law” unto themselves? This nihilistic need for the world to conform to our preferences is destroying our nation and our culture, and everything that made America the land of the free and the home of the brave.
