Do you wonder if we’ll ever get the 2020 election behind us? It seems every week there’s a new report of problems found with the election in one state or another. If not a problem with the election itself, then problems with the recounts and audits. I believe most people want our elections to be free, fair, and open. Yet today, we see problems with free and fair elections in Georgia, Michigan, and Arizona. And when states like Georgia, Florida, or Iowa pass legislation to help bolster the integrity of their elections, they are almost immediately vilified in public or sued in court for infringing on the right to vote. What can we learn from the debacle that was the 2020 election? And will we ever learn the lessons of how to keep our elections free, fair, and open?
