No one can ever accuse Kim Klacik of being afraid or complacent. Ever since hitting the political scene, she has been a force to contend with. She clenched the backing of then-President Trump in her 2019 Congressional race after a video she made exposing the corruption of Democrats in Baltimore went viral. Although she didn’t win the election, she made a name for herself as being a fighter and going up against the establishment on the left and the right.
Klacik joins “After Dark with Rob and Andrew” to discuss her political career and the future of the Republican Party. The Maryland native shares with the hosts, that her first entry into the political arena wasn’t well-received by some in the upper echelons of the GOP. In fact, she said, many in the GOP pushed back against her having a prominent speaking role during the 2020 Republican Convention. However, President Trump overruled them, and she spoke. He has since been in her corner supporting her. Realizing what she went through, not having the backing of the GOP, her manager approached her about creating Red Renaissance, a political action committee, to support future American First candidates. Klacik plans to be active with her PAC during the 2022 and 2024 elections and helping new candidates get elected.
Kimberly Klacik, a conservative politician, took on the establishment in 2019 when she ran for Congress in Maryland to fill the seat vacated by Elijah Cummings following his death. She has appeared on FOX news as a Republican Strategist. Recently she and her manager, Markus Trent, created Red Renaissance, a PAC dedicated to the support of up and coming American First conservative candidates. Currently, Klacik and her husband reside in Maryland with their young daughter.
