The message is clear. If Republicans expect to win races against Democrats in future elections, they must push for election integrity. The recent midterm election proves that the current election system needs an overhaul. This isn’t to say elections should be federalized, but the process, as it stands, is designed by Democrats for Democrats to win. Even when it seems Republicans have the upper hand when early voting returns come in, it surreptitiously diminishes when vote counts are extended into two or three days.
Social media personality and political analyst Bebe Diamond joined After Dark hosts to do an election day post-mortem. While she, like others, thought Republicans would prevail in the midterms, given the failures of the Biden Administration and Democrats, she was always aware that our election system was broken. Diamond tells the hosts that if Republicans don’t fight for election integrity, they will find themselves constantly losing elections to the Democrats.
Bebe Diamond is a free speech advocate. Her passion for the black family has led her to start a ministry and non-profit aimed at helping the broken black man, whom she says is the cornerstone of the black family. In addition to the ministry, Diamond is the assistant to Barbara From Harlem, a nationally recognized speaker and author who has been dubbed the godmother of the black conservative movement. Diamond wrote the introduction to Barbara From Harlem’s compelling and inspirational memoir “Escaping the Racism of Low Expectations.” She and Barbara are hosts of “Our Urban Story,” a weekend podcast that airs on Saturdays on Facebook.
