Afghanistan War Comes to an End – The Biden Administration has pulled American troops from the long, almost twenty-year war in Afghanistan. There is grave controversy surrounding the way in which US troops left American policy in Afghanistan has been imposed on this tribal nation for almost twenty years through both Republican and Democrat administrations in Washington DC… looking back, was going into Afghanistan the right move for the United States in the first place? Should we have stayed that long? Should America be investing in nation-building exercises in these global skirmishes?
After a 20 year presence, the Americans turned off the electricity at the base, and flew from Bagram to Kabul airport in the middle of the night. It was only after they were safely in Kabul that they let the Afghan military commanders know that they had left Bagram. We betrayed those Afghanis who put their own lives – and the lives of their families – on the line for us. They risked their lives every day in order to assist and protect our troops, and then we refused to secure their safety when we left. Instead, we abandoned them to the cruel injustice of the brutal Taliban, who see them as nothing more than traitors and will treat them accordingly. Read more on Ilana’s incredible article here:

– Masks should be worn by all individuals (age 2 and older) who are not fully vaccinated.
– Vaccination is currently the leading public health prevention strategy to end the COVID-19 pandemic. Promoting vaccination can help schools safely return to in-person learning as well as extracurricular activities and sports.
Israel – Abraham Accords – The Biden Administration has frozen the funds earmarked for the Abraham Fund. At least 10 projects were approved for funding, but are now stalled. They were projects in energy, food technology, and financial technology. But with the U.S. freezing the fund “indefinitely,” all activity has now been frozen. Why is the Biden Administration canceling these programs and the success that Trump had established near the end of his administration for the Middle East?
