Values? Apparently we don’t have any anymore, at least that’s how our two political party’s work. When a party runs on values, the electorate who supports them believes that there is some level of purpose in the hearts of their elected officials to keep those values paramount in running government, so long as they comport to the US Constitution.
The Constitution is the founding document where our values were indelibly written by the blood of patriots.
Unfortunately, that is not the case. To paraphrase Al Gore’s “inconvenient truth,” both political parties exist exclusively to win elections, not to uphold the values or principles they campaigned on. Maybe once, but no more. That explains why the delusional John Kasich, former Governor of Ohio, believes he has a snowballs chance to challenge President Trump in the primary of 2020. Kasich’s firm belief in bipartisanship is proof enough that we actually live under a one party system of elites, striving for a “New World Order.”
To the true believers in both parties, it may be abhorrent to deny that their party stands for lasting values, or that those values are why voters choose to become Republicans or Democrats. But in truth, any articles of faith for Republicans or Democrats simply do not exist except as campaign promises, issues to be ignored after elections. Trump changed all that for Republicans and AOC is changing the Democrat party from Socialists to Fascists.
Alexandra Ocasio y Cortez, with her cast of millennial communists are changing the rules of party vs. party. Today’s Democrat party is now openly hostile to the US Constitution. Her party is composed of young citizens who have been denied a proper American education in civics, humanities and constitutional law, to be brainwashed instead by a feel good philosophy that claims individual attainment is a crime against equality of those incapable of achieving wealth. The excess earnings should be seized by the government for the common good. We once laughed at ideas like that because they were unfair, except to socialists.
It’s a simple question of economics. Government does not create wealth, they must steal it.
That is the philosophy of economics that Comrade Alexander Ocasio y Cortez and the drooling minions who believe her nonsense, is presenting to America as worthy of serious consideration.
Saul Alinsky wrote in his Rules for Radicles, that ridicule is the best tactic for radicals to use to neutralize their opponents. But, that works both ways doesn’t it? Now AOC, because of the laughter, has withdrawn her learned article of socialist faith from her web site, but continues to champion it in interviews with the caveat, “it was taken out of context.”
Maybe the “Left” doesn’t yet understand that most Americans aren’t ready for their nonsense like keeping corporate job makers out of their community. How do I know? New York mayor Bill deBlasio in his disbelief of what happened with Amazon, just educated comrade Cortez in basic economics after her coterie of millennial socialists just screwed NYC out of a multi-billion dollar tax source by Amazon’s withdrawing any further interest in locating there.
Amusingly, deBlasio, like a good democrat will, immediately denied everything, admitted nothing and blamed somebody else for Amazon’s middle finger action. He blamed Amazon themselves for “an abuse of corporate power.” Yes, by all means, blame the victim! Should the socialist democrat party embrace the Constitution and reject their values of cultural fascism; their media machine would run out of business. Now, that can’t be all that bad either, can it?
Remember, freedom is the goal, the Constitution is the way. Now, go get ‘em!
