What was the most important story of 2022? The invasion of Ukraine by Russia and the death of Queen Elizabeth are at the top but aren’t necessarily the top stories. The first black woman Ketanji Brown Jackson joining the Supreme Court was historical, but not earth-shattering, as some would think.

Who can forget the many gaffes coming from “Resident” Joe Biden, “Vice Resident” Kamala Harris, and “their” White House? The gaffes which have become comical will probably continue into 2023. And then there’s the Actor Will Smith’s slap that was heard around the world. It was a headline grabber when it happened, but so was the Johnny Depp and Amber Heard trial.

Men competing in women’s sports or men being defined as women, depending on how they feel, are stories worth a lot of attention. After all, Lia Thomas, a man breaking swimming titles competing against women in women’s sports, was worth talking about. However, Thomas’s story can’t compete against Sam Britton, who was a member of the Biden Administration pretending to be a man in a dress. He was arrested for stealing women’s luggage at airports.

Then there’s the arrest of Paul Pelosi, husband of former Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi. Paul’s arrest was followed by the arrest of a well-known male nudist intruder in his and Nancy’s San Francisco home. Nancy, fortunately, wasn’t home, but Paul was, and he called the police on the intruder. Nothing else is known about the story, but it’s worth talking about.

As the year slowly ended, we saw the release of Brittney Griner, a professional women’s basketball player, from a Russian prison. She had pleaded guilty to bringing drugs into the country controlled by Vladimir Putin. It’s hard to believe he was released and notPaul Whelan, a marine who loves his country, and the American flag. I can’t say the same for Griner, who doesn’t like hearing the national anthem played.

The collapse of cryptocurrency FTX also happened as the year ended. This was followed by the arrest of its founder Sam Bankman-Fried in the Bahamas and his eventual extradition to the US.

Other notable top stories of the year include the Idaho murders, the Uvalde, Texas school shooting, Supreme Court overrules Roe v. Wade, Jan. 6 Committee hearings, Liz Cheney losing her election, the FBI raiding Mar-a-Lago, the border crisis worsening, Boris Johnson resigning as UK Prime Minister, Hurricanes Fiona and Ian in Florida, Midterm election Red Wave that didn’t happen and finally Elon Musk purchase of Twitter.

Indeed many big stories are making the headlines, but none as earth-shattering that will be felt for years to come. What is the top story of 2022?

It is the story that has gone unnoticed by the mainstream media and many Americans. The story is about the FBI and CIA colluding with the Biden White House to silence the free speech of Americans and interfere in a presidential election to impact the outcome.
